Activities and offers for members
In the aviation sector
The tasks of bavAIRia e.V. in accordance with the articles of incorporation include networking and initiating collaborative innovation projects.
Networking
Networking in the field of aviation takes place on different levels. bavAIRia e.V. offers a platform for exchange between different actors such as SMEs, large companies, universities, research institutions and economic policy representatives. We organise targeted events to network the actors in the region and to discuss current topics and promote networking. On international level, we support our members by providing information and initiating contacts. You can find out more about our offer for internationalisation in aviation here.
We inform our members about current calls for proposals from regional, national or European funding opportunities operating in the fields of aviation, UAM and defence.
Main focus
The current issues we are dealing with are:

Targeted events
As an exchange platform, we organise the AAM Forum and the Defence Forum. These two events provide a unique platform for the exchange of information and ideas in the fields of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Defence & Security.

Projects
One focus of the cluster work performed by bavAIRia e.V. is the initiation, support and implementation of national as well as international projects. We also act as partners and project managers. In our projects, we always strive to offer our members added value.
Since 2021, we have been working with four partners from the region on the training-aero project. The goal is to network the training players in Bavaria, to bundle training offers, to fill gaps in supply and to make Bavaria’s aviation industry fit for the future.
