Via the neutral "engineering bavAIRia" platform, companies among the Engineering Services Supply Chain - from the small specialist and the big Preferred Supplier through to OEMs and Tier 1 clients - can work together on concrete topics. By realizing various projects in coordination with engineering services, OEMs and Tier 1, bavAIRia is supporting the small and medium-sized engineering services so they can stay successful the aviation business, act as Tier 2 to detect new clients among the E2S-Suppliers, become a Tier 1 Supplier themselves via co-operations respectively tap into international customer circles - despite the new Supply-Chain-structures with some Preferred Suppliers (e.g. EADS).

Besides providing the Internet portal ACCESS aeronautics - the information & cooperation portal for engineering services - bavAIRia e.V. also uses different linking activities to support the Engineering Services Supply Chain in Bavaria. Thus bavAIRia e.V. advances the development of the request network among different engineering services. This way, several Tier-1-Suppliers get their support to create partner networks with small and medium-sized engineering services in Bavaria.
